Our Culture

PT Aruna Maritim Utama (The Company) is committed to creating an atmosphere of trust in which colleagues, both ashore and at sea, are assured that:

  • They can report the actions of those involved in events which may damage the Company's reputation without retribution and regardless of position or rank.
  • Where their performance falls below expectations, the process for managing any actions taken will be in a transparent, consistent and fair manner.

To this end, the Company's Safety management system:

  • Details reporting methods, either in person or anonymously
  • Specifies behaviour that is acceptable and behaviour that is not acceptable.

To ensure staff have the necessary competence to undertake their tasks to the required standard, the Company will provide the necessary support, training and resources. This policy applies to anyone working on board a Company owned and managed vessel and to all persons employed in the Company's network. The policy will not apply if an individual knowingly or willingly conceals an applicable event or hinders an investigation, or causes an event or commits an unsafe act that results from:

  • An illegal act.
  • A deliberate act with intended consequences to harm.
  • An act committed under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Our Anti Corruption Policy

This Anti-Corruption Policy supports PT Aruna Maritim Utama (the Company) commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. Company will not tolerate any form of corruption. This Policy reinforces the expectation that employees place ethics at the center of all that we do by conducting business activities on behalf of the Company with honesty and integrity. Professional and straightforward business practices protect Company's reputation and ensure Company and its employees do not violate anti-corruption laws, which have severe penalties.

This Policy applies to the Company and its subsidiaries and to all employees, including directors, managers, contractors and other persons subject to an employment-type relationship with the Company (Employees) as well as business partners acting on Company's behalf.

Each Employee must adopt a zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of corruption, including bribery, kickbacks, and facilitation payments. To avoid corruption, Employees must:

  • Never offer, pay, request or accept bribes or kickbacks, even if requested or directed to do so by a senior manager.
  • Never get involved in any fraudulent or dishonest activity.
  • Never authorize any corrupt activities or behaviours.
  • Never turn a blind eye to potentially corrupt behaviour by subordinates or business partners acting on the Company's behalf.
  • Never conceal any corrupt or potentially corrupt activity.
  • Never engage in activities that could facilitate corruption, including drafting illegal agreements, drafting fraudulent claims, falsifying evidence, and giving false evidence in legal proceedings.

Information on potential non-compliance with this Policy by Employees, or any business partner with whom the Company conducts or anticipates conducting business must be reported promptly. Employees can report suspected misconduct to their department's head, or Company's Whistle Blowing System at:
